HEAT TREATMENT SYSTEM

      Heat treatment,the word itself indicates that something is heated and then some operation is done. So what dose it means , where it is used and why it is used these questions are arising that's why I'm here .

       Heater treatment is nothing but heating of any material (not plastic,wood) like metals and alloys .

When any product is to be made then it travels from lot of machining process ex-forging, extrusion, rolling, turning, grooving, bending etc so after these process material becomes stressed and it's microstructure grains also dislocalised and gets disturbed , so to release the stresses produced in the metal and to be get arranged order of microstructure grains we perfome a process known as HEAT TREATMENT .

   In heat treatment process firstly metal is heated to an elevated temperature and then cooled down slowly or some times rapidly .These process of heating and cooling both are done at required rate in desired time .

   Heat treatment is done on two basic parameters I.e. Time-Temperature relationship .Whatever material,metal is but T-T is necessary.

On behalf of T-T  diferente process are there in heat treatment like HARDENING, ANNEALING, STRESS RELEAVING, TEMPERING, AGEING , NORMALISING,etc.
