 EASTERN DEDICATED FREIGHT CORRIDOR INAUGURATED BY PM NARENDRA MODI


NEW LIFELINE FOR INDIAN FREIGHT TRANSPORT SYSTEM AS WELL AS INDIAN RAILWAY EASTERN DEDICATED FREIGHT CORRIDOR OF 351 KM LONG FROM NEW BHAGALPUR TO NEW KHURJA JUNCTION CONSTRUCTED BY DFCCIL IS NOW IN OPERATIONAL.


It was a long awaited which comes like a historic day for India to have it's first rail route only dedicated to goods vagon. EDFC constructed by DFCCIL which is a part of DFC is inaugurated today by PM Narendra Modi.


Till today on one rail route both freight trains and passenger trains were running, in result of that either passenger trains were run late or goods like food,fuel oils , coal, private company goods were unable to reach at fix time.In this way there were loss of INDIAN RAILWAY and passengers. But now it will not happen so because now India have 351KM long rail track only dedicated to freight train (goods vagon) .


   Now the main impact is that on this route only freight train will run and on old route only passenger train will run so there will be every once profit.INDIAN RAILWAY, Passengers, goods customer.No freight train will be delayed & no passenger trains will be delayed and speed will also boost.trains will reach at their destinations on time.

On freight track train will run at a speed of 100Kmph and passenger trains on their route will run at a speed of minimum 120Kmph.


 According to DFCCIL(Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd) industrial hubs and logistics parks will also be establish to speed up industrial sector.

EDFC is very valueable and economic for Indian railway.
