New Parliament Building Inaugurated today

 New Parliament Building 



Today PM Narendra Modi inaugurated Newly constructed Parliament Building to the Nation. It is a historic day for India and a sign of AtmaNirbhar Bharat. It have many new facilities too, Lets know some facts about it.

From long times it was felt that the old Parliament house have less seats and spaces as much required , so it was in demand to construct a New one.

In old parliament there is a central hall with a total capacity of 436 people. The joint cession of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha has been held in this central hall till now. But due to low capacity, about 200 chairs have to be installed during the joint session in central hall. The design of the Lok Sabha hall in the New Parliament building is being done so that joint session can be held eaisly. the new Lok Sabha hall have seats for 1,272 peoples.

The new Parliament House have a seating arrangement of 888 MPs in Lok Sabha. In Rajya Sabha  there are 384 seats.

The new parliament house is made Earthquake ragistant. It is able to withstand strong shocks in Zone 5.

Theme of the structure of the House of Lok Sabha is National bird Peacock and the theme of Rajya Sabha is national flower Lotus.

The new parliament house is built in an area of 64,500 square meters, it have grand constitution hall , a lounge for members of parliament, a library , multiple committee rooms, dining areas,  and ample parking space.





It has three main gates, which is named as  Gyan Dwar, Shakti Dwar, and Karma Dwar.

The building have seperate entrance for MPs, VIPs, and visitors. It have portraits of Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal nehru, Subhas Chandra Bose and also of other Prime Ministers of the country.

Every MPs seat have facilitated with touch screen, Entry will also be Biometric.

New Parliament house also have special facilities for the media. A total 530 seats are arranged for media. Both houses have galleries for general public to witness parliamentary proceedings.



PM Modi installed the Historic Sengol to its rightful place in Parliament near the Lok Sabha Speaker's Chair.

  Agnipath Scheme :  Y esterday Defence minister Rajnath Singh launched the Agnipath scheme for service in Indian Armed forces i.e Army,Navy, Airforce. Soldiers will be known as Agniveer . During its announcement chief of Tri-services i.e Armi chief,Navy chief, Airforce chief were present. Under this scheme , youth of 17.5 years to 21 years will be taken for 4 year service including 6 months training. After completion of 4 year of service 75 % will be retired and 25 % with extra capabilities, leadership skills, qualities,ready to face challenge , soldiers will be permanent. During first year ofservice 30000 per month salary given to them after that 40000 will be payed. In which 70 % will be paid to soldiers and remaining 30 % will be kept by government which will covered as PF and adding extra 30 % by government is paid as 'Seva Nidhi' after retirement. India Got it's Own Vaccine         Finally the day which was long awaited comes today.India got it's two own vaccines.DCGI(Drug Controller General of India) gave an emergency approval to two #madeinindia vaccines      Today it's like a big dream came true , DCGI (Drug Controller General of India) approved Serum Institute of India & Bharat Biotech working with ICMR(Indian Council of Medical Research) & NIV(National Institute of Virology) Covishield and Covaxin. Both vaccines got emergency approval.PM Narendra Modi appreciated and congratulated to scientist and doctors.        On other hand Government has done a dry run of vaccination in all over India.
