NC (Numerical Control) Machine

 Numerical Control (NC) machine ::

    It is the machine or device which is controlled by direct input of data in the form of symbols,numbers,letters or in combination of these.

Automatically controlling a machine tool based on a set of pre-programmed machining and movement of instructions is known as Numerical Control.



In NC machine, the program is fed in punched tape.NC is essential in modern industrial robotics.

NC machine is based on Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) for operation and controlling of machine tools.

In point-to-point system of nc a device is programmed to perform a series of motions with fixed starting and stopping points.

There are three types of NC machines ◆

●Traditional Numerical Control (NC machine)

●Computer Numerical Control (CNC machine)

●Direct Numerical Control (DNC machine)

NC machine is programmed by punched tape and once a programme is fed it can not be changed.

Application of NC :

   NC machine has a various application such as metal cutting operation,automatic drafting operation,spot welding operation,press working operation, assembly, inspection etc . It basically works metal removing process.Exp- metal working,turning,sawing, grinding,milling, drilling,boring etc.

The NC is suitable to sequence of machining process.

Application of NC is divided into two parts :

1.Machine tool application

2. Non-machine tool application

  Agnipath Scheme :  Y esterday Defence minister Rajnath Singh launched the Agnipath scheme for service in Indian Armed forces i.e Army,Navy, Airforce. Soldiers will be known as Agniveer . During its announcement chief of Tri-services i.e Armi chief,Navy chief, Airforce chief were present. Under this scheme , youth of 17.5 years to 21 years will be taken for 4 year service including 6 months training. After completion of 4 year of service 75 % will be retired and 25 % with extra capabilities, leadership skills, qualities,ready to face challenge , soldiers will be permanent. During first year ofservice 30000 per month salary given to them after that 40000 will be payed. In which 70 % will be paid to soldiers and remaining 30 % will be kept by government which will covered as PF and adding extra 30 % by government is paid as 'Seva Nidhi' after retirement. India Got it's Own Vaccine         Finally the day which was long awaited comes today.India got it's two own vaccines.DCGI(Drug Controller General of India) gave an emergency approval to two #madeinindia vaccines      Today it's like a big dream came true , DCGI (Drug Controller General of India) approved Serum Institute of India & Bharat Biotech working with ICMR(Indian Council of Medical Research) & NIV(National Institute of Virology) Covishield and Covaxin. Both vaccines got emergency approval.PM Narendra Modi appreciated and congratulated to scientist and doctors.        On other hand Government has done a dry run of vaccination in all over India.
